President Message

Strengthening Our Future Through Sustainability and Unity

Dear Kemcolians,

I am deeply honored and privileged to serve as KEMCAANA President for 2026. I want to thank my fellow Kemcolians for entrusting me with this responsibility. I am equally thankful to Dr. Danish Bhatti and the entire Executive Committee for their dedicated leadership over the past year.

Last year, KEMCAANA celebrated a remarkable milestone – our 50th anniversary. Half a century ago, a small group of passionate Kemcolians founded this organization with a simple but powerful vision: to stay connected, support one another, and give back to the alma mater that shaped us. Over the past five decades, that vision has flourished into a vibrant, engaged alumni that continues to inspire excellence and a sense of belonging.

KEMCAANA’s accomplishments speak for themselves: Thanks scholarship, post-graduate scholarship and loan program, observer-ship program, nursing education initiative, Mayo peritoneal dialysis project, equipment donations, document verification services, digitization of records, pediatric burn unit, to name only a few. These achievements reflect the hard work, generosity, and collaborative spirit of Kemcolians and are a testament to the impact KEMCAANA has made.

While we celebrate our past, we are reminded of the legacy we carry – and the future we must build. The strength of any organization lies in its engaged membership and long-term financial stability. As we step into the next fifty years, it is imperative that we remain membership strong, engaged, and financially stable. Most importantly, to continue supporting our programs, projects, and future innovations, we must ensure long-term financial sustainability.

One of my primary goals for the coming year is to have a well-financed endowment fund to cover our operational expenses, which have consistently posed a challenge. We aim to raise $400,000 for this endowment fund, and I am confident that we can achieve this goal together.

To further strengthen our network, education initiatives, improve healthcare, and continue our mission of community service, KEMCAANA plans to hold a retreat in Philadelphia in May 2026 in addition to our spring meeting in Pakistan in March, in collaboration with APPNA.

I invite all the Kemcolians to join in our shared mission to KEEP KEMCAANA GREAT in the coming years. Together, we will continue to strengthen our organization and uphold the values that unite us. Your ideas, suggestions, and participation are invaluable. Please feel free to reach out – I am only an email away at president@kemcaana.org
